Short answer
Yes. Every approved merchant gets a test key (sk_test_) for the staging API at https://staging.api.payluk.ng. You can top up test balances, pay escrows from the Payluk test bank and use testnet cNGN without real money. Test keys are issued with your live keys once merchant access is approved. Sign up, complete KYC, upgrade to a business account and email [email protected].
What you can test
- The full escrow lifecycle: create, fund, confirm, claim, dispute and resolve
- A staging-only top-up endpoint to fund test wallets instantly
- Bank-transfer payments using the Payluk test bank
- Crypto deposits with testnet cNGN on BSC Testnet
- Webhooks to your separate test callback URL
Keeping test and live separate
Test keys only work on staging and live keys only work in production, so you can’t move real money by accident. Set separate webhook URLs for test and live.
